What is a veneer?
Veneers are a great way to improve your overall smile while maintaining a natural appearance. A veneer is a wafer-thin, custom-made shell that is permanently attached to the front surface of teeth.
Porcelain or Resin Composite?
Veneers can be made from two different materials, porcelain or resin composite. Both of these tooth colored materials have their pros and cons. Porcelain veneers are less likely to stain and reflect light to give a more natural appearance. However, they can be more expensive and the entire veneer will need to be replaced if it is damaged. Resin composite veneers are more affordable, and if damaged, the resin composite veneer can be quickly fixed.
